he may not have broken a jaw, but his intent was the same. brand is half the size of trophy which probably has something to do with injuries sustained. brand is as much a THUG as trophy. brand gave away a free, kept going with it then punched a MKFC player in the head, 5 metres away from me...i didnt need to see a video, or hear it 2nd hand. i was there and only stopped myself from becoming involved when i heard gerard blow his whistle. i knew then he was going to report and decided my involvement would not help the situation.
if trophy was playing for cobby i bet your opinion wouldnt be the same CM.
my sole point being would you be as quick to condemn if he played for cobby. i think not as demonstrated by your view of brand being reported

codmaster - remember a certain Bar mon player was hit 100m behind the play last year , exactly the same injury and the Loxton players penalty? 3 weeks.

As for the Brand report well i was in a car about 20 m away and seen it all as i was also there
Gerard even said at the tribunal ,he rated it at 2 out of 10 for malice
As for the player i know him very well as he plays tennis at Cobby but that does not change my mind on this incident
Yes you are rite Reflex i do remember the B.M player incident and i throught the same then as i do now.
I hate it when ever ANY player is seriously hurt regardless of what team he plays for.

CM, are you saying its ok to punch someone in the face aslong as you dont seriously injure them? there is no denying both incidents had punches to the face, 1 had a major injury the other didnt.

I've heard that Josh Kellar is going back to BDT in 2008. Has anyone else heard this?

There's always talk about Dymmo leaving North - but would he really play against them?

Another club for Pricey eh? That would be the Jason Goodes connection that might get him there I'm guessing...

CM - don't get me wrong, I'm not saying you're wrong. And I do know he's great mates with Lefty.

But as Crushy said, his name comes up every year and when it comes to the crunch....

Will watch with interest. A Dymmott to Barmera would be a very promising start for the Roos, ruck an area they were obviously deficient in this season.
