Walk in to any service station in Australia and if you get a single bottle of Mt Franklin 1.5 litre water for under $5.50 each off promotion then you’re doing well. Independent Servos run off the smell of an oily rag and are hard work... It’s just a dead set witch hunt from some ordinary people.

Yep .. Then the likes of Pink and the Urban/Kidman family donate $1mil between them and half the clowns on FB are like "Big deal, thats like me donating $10, bloody tightarses" - Like WTF is wrong with some people??

I’d bet most of those dickheads haven’t donated a cent. I have 2 people who are family and I know they haven’t donated at all. They are demanding so many things and one is even marching this week for the government to change their policies about paying CFS fireys like the Army Reserves. Our forecasting ( in construction ) actually looks pretty solid, there's been enough to tender in the last half of '19 to suggest there's some work coming and we're in the middle of several large projects as we speak. I can only assume sites have been slow to return ( or aren't back until next week ) or are way behind because of the heat in the last week before Xmas ( all sites were shut by 11am that week, at the latest ).

Oddly quiet return.

Would have thought normally a bit quiet at this point in the year.

Plenty of companies are closed through this period. Probably another week before it ramps up.

The year ahead doesn't look too bad for construction companies.

There are reports emerging of people pretending to be RFS fireys and asking people to leave their homes on NSW's bushfire-affected south coast.

Listeners have called into ABC's South East radio saying the scammers are coming back to homes after asking the owners to leave and looting them.

You’d think that something inside of them would stop them and think “hey, this is very rank”.

I believe in karma, I think it’s far easier just being a civil human being.
