I've heard that apparently Monday meetings to be held at Mount Gambier. Was this part of the racing calendar or a sign of poor horse numbers and needing to make it up on the run?

Tots return to WAYVILLE Friday night
Is it really worth all the effort ?
looking at the fields one would suggest NOT
7 race program with ONLY 2 full fields of 8
2 fields of 7
2 fields of 6
1 field of 5

Pretty ordinary i would have thought

Not about the fields, 95% of people there would not give a damn. All about the crowd they got last year and the success of it, get more people there than the other 51 weeks at Globe Derby!
