How many junior and senior teams does the Rams have?
5 senior teams including female and masters
6 junior teams
Like I said the Rams have actually assisted with the move from Lyndoch, the club has no problems moving but they were guaranteed they would not be moved until the Council completed the Tanunda redevlopments which their clubrooms/fields were a major part of
I didn't realize you had that many teams.
The Barossa doesn't have enough Ovals at the moment, another suitable for cricket would be beneficial and Rugby could use that in the winter. Moculta oval is available in the winter, used to be for Hockey, its already a rectangle, nice little set up. Could work in the short term.
On this same subject when was the last time a council made a developer put in an Oval at a new housing development. All the housing in Gawler over the last 20 years and not one oval has been added.
Yeah absolutely not enough ovals
The disappointment has come from being told sorry we upholding our deal with the football and off you go find somewhere else
The club is growing, caters for people of all genders, ages, physical size and has a inclusion program for people with disabilities to play. The club is in an extremely strong financial position and brings tourism into the region with most of the teams coming from ‘south’ staying the weekend at local accomodation when they play us at home.
The club understands the need for the Barossa move but believes it should have the respect of being relocated to adequate facilities.
