4 leg byes secured the winning runs
they mentioned if scores were tied it would result in a bowl-out
what is a bowl-out?

I believe that's when both sides send out bowlers to the middle and they bowl and the team that hits the stumps most wins or something like that.

Nine msn are wankers i watched the game and it was a very slow wicket and the aussies have been training in Joburg and the wickets are very fast there. and you forget the aussies had 2 practice matches and before that the last game they played was the world cup final. over 3 months agohondo71 wrote:Nine MSN news page now has a poll asking if the Aussie cricket team is in 'decline'

Yep, like a penalty shootout in Football...would be a ripper to see one happen.

Look at the crowds that went to Adelaide oval last year for a state 20/20 match. They love it - get to the game at 6, home by 9 - that means $$$$ that means it will grow and grow
They said all the same things about the 50 over game 30 years ago but the high crowd numbers made it permanent. 20/20 is also perfect for TV which means more $$$$.
And exactly same as ODI when the started, some teams didn't it seriously and others embraced it and made a name for themselves.
