Anything to do with Daniel Balfour?

We had a couple of blokes come back to us from Kilburn, saying Danny Ryan is absolutely burying them fitness wise, and they're bodies couldn't take it. Not sure whether that's a positive or a negative for Kilburn.

And Modbury will make finals in Div 2 this year. They have a hell of a lot of depth, which got even bigger over the off-season, picking up some blokes from Tea Tree Gully.

Would this be the same Golden Grove that got beaten by Mitchell Park late last year?
Not sure what has happened to GG as I played against them a number of years ago (to long ago now) and they a very good team in div 6 and looked like they where going to move up the grades.

This should happen as the size of the area they have to attract players from is huge guess it must just be taking a while.

I totally missed that. You really think Golden Grove will go top, they where struggling a bit last season and although they have got a new coach thats still a big call.

He played footy at Pooraka and Salisbury West and probably a few other clubs.
I am not sure of his coaching credibility however I think he has had a coaching role at Pooraka in the past.
For every one I miss I am closer to a hole in one.

I would be very careful about righting off Golden Grove this year duncs7. Simon Johnson the coach has a very good football brain, and he'll have them up and running. Although im not sure if they can make the finals this season, they will cause a few upsets. So mark my words, Golden Grove could be a surpirse packet this season.

Duncs - how are Elizabeth looking on the track this season? Who's got the coaching job? And do I know you?

Also Pag - you've ranked Trinity OS pretty high, on what have you based that?

Not a whole hell of a lot. Being from the northern suburbs and growing up playing with blokes in the Elizabeth area and knowing a lot of blokes from Gawler and blokes who went to Trinity, there has been a fair bit of football talent flow through that school over the last 5-10 years. One of our best A graders almost went there, from a D3 club to D7, and this is a bloke who would dominate D7. So I'm not sure how much money, if any, they're throwing around, but I know that the school itself isn't exactly short on funds, so if they wanted to get involved, the club would have a fairly decent cash flow.

So to answer your question, not a whole lot of proof, just a lot of conjecture.
