Clark AND Kasprowicz in for 1st Test.
Oh well, it must be because I'm biased but how can you pick both of those over Tait and MacGill, yes that's right, no MacGill either.
Will stand corrected if there were injury reasons but I really can't believe it.
Now that they are in though, I hope they prove me wrong by taking a bundle of wickets.

SA 2/48 of 17 overs, the new boy got Smith for 19!!

Kasper got SOF (son of Fanie) for 8

GO BOYS show them how to play real cricket!!!
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

3/58 now of 22 overs Clarks got 2, but he has gone for 12 off 4 overs, which is not quite in Lewis' league but on an overcast day on a first morning pitch......

Two handy first up wickets Smith and Kallis (well Kallis anyway)

Seth Efrica 4/66 @ lunch, all the doubting Thomas' who pooh poohed Clarks selection (and I am one) give yourself an uppercut on the basis of his work in his 1st session of test cricket

Promising start by the Aussies, let's hope they can hammer home the advantage. I still think they are a better equipped TEST team than South Africa. Well done to Stuart Clark on debut.

Go Stewie yet another NSW legend in the making LOL. Saffies all out for 200 odd (should have got less) with the Aussies 1/50 odd in reply (sorry boys half asleep when I heard the scores this morning).

I was surprised Clarke got five for, but good luck to him.

Australia had their fair shair of luck which helped, the dismissal of Rudolph was comical but just one of those things. As they said on the TV it was like Warne wasn't even watching the ball.

I think Langer can count himself a little unlucky, I am no expert but I didn't think he was out but again that happens from time to time.

I agree. Kallis is the key to this match. Pick him up early tonight and we should win the Test.

Australia now need stuff all to win the test with 10 wickets in hand.
Masterstroke by the selectors putting Clark in, I wouldn't have.
Another thing that's stood out for me in the 2nd innings is some of Gilchrist's great work with the gloves, we forget he's a pretty handy wicket keeper at times, some great catches.
