Thats not the tune we've been hearing out of West Lakes for years. Maybe need to get him up to a role on the wing? Not saying the lad can't play, but he should be one of your best and he seems a fair way off that

2015 he was 3rd in metres gained, 2016 he was 5th and 2017 he was 6th before his knee.

The whole game has changed so much from 2017 when he played his best football, sides don't allow running defenders like him space (every side plays a defensive forward) and finding space to lead into for him is harder than ever. I'd take Smith, but, at 27 and with Adelaide's window closing he's one who could (as clubs do at the moment) bring in a pick worth adding for the next tilt.
Who would have said Port would trade Wingard this time last year?

I'm not sure how metres gained is viewed as a metric, if you kick it to the opposition it's still metres gained.

Would you like to take Wingard back?
Every time I see Burton play for Port, a small piece of me dies.

Not necessarily.. sure it's been said a few times - metres gained is based off 2 possesions.. your possesion + the following one.
Kick to an opposition and they run and kick back over your head, metres gained would be a loss.

Sorry mate, was off grabbing Popcorn.
I'd sell him if you got a price that worked, but would happily keep him. Gotta get more from him (and nearly all of their better tier players) though.
