It really is tough spending 2 or 3 years at the top without any results, more so when you fall apart in September. The only thing that can ease the pain is a premiership at the end of it all.

another grub

mate, why don't you just worry about your mob

the tigers have been promising to my the 8 for 20 years now and can't get out of the bottom 4.

not to mentioned, they spent a shite load of money on a five year deal with Wallance, 3 years in to his contract the club has gone backwards

I would advise you to watch the Hawks this week, look at #23, and think to yourself

FFS, why did Wallance chose Tambling over Buddy Franklin

Your club has nothing and will be shite for a few more years

Bit harsh. 3 blokes got taken before Franklin. Even Hawthorn took a player before Franklin (Roughead).

I was surprised to hear that Choco has the best win-loss ratio of any current AFL coach! Who knows, he may well have another premiership win soon!

Richmond took 2 out of the 3 blokes before Franklin, so they were two times as stupid

I beleive the crows are a club who will always want to be around the top 8 but to go to the next step and be a grand finalist they need some changes which might hurt them in the short term and see them drop down to the bottom 4. Look at Collingwood they dropped down in 2004/05 got great draft picks used them well and whammo same as port power. Craigy would be given 1 more year and if we dont play off in the big one see ya latter.

Good post, except you contradicted yourself by saying give Craig one more year for the big one or sack him :?

your right MW i did. what i should of said if the crows make plenty of changes but see improvement in development not just position on the ladder then keep craigy, but if they go the same old same old and the results arent there then give him the bullett.

Depend what your after i guess. Really need to put draft picks in perspective. Also really need to wait till careers are finished before making a true value judgement.

If Judd breaks down now and never plays again and Hodge plays another 10 years of good footy who was the better choice. Same thing with Franklin. If he loses the plot and never plays another good game but Tambling plays 10 years of good solid footy surely that would be better value.

Yes, very good call, can't argue with that at all ... Splitting hairs with blokes like Judd and Hodge anyway as both have always been top-shelfers.

Tambling seemed to be greatly improved in the 2nd half of this season and could be a surprise down the track!

On Buddy, the boy is special, just has that WOW factor that puts bums on seats, I luv watching him play.

I'd take Hodge.

More physical, a better leader (yes Judd is captain, Hodge isn't...), better skills and a better mark.

A greater all-round package IMO.

Surely if both were fit and ready you would take Judd??????

Brownlow medalist/ Norm Smith medalist and proven match-winner / game-breaker

No disrespect to Hodge who is also an excellent player
