Cove definately disappointing and all in all everyone knows they've had more than enough talent to at least make the GF but surely alot of us out of curiosity have wandered over to the Cove huddle to listen in. He in my opinion just lacks the spark to get inside the guys they don't respond well to him at all. His assistant is a no brainer and can't even play football has been sacked from heaps of clubs. I've seen him smack a guy in the back because he couldn't get a kick, where the guts in that? Surely all of Cove have to demand some answers.

Don't take anything away from porties tho they are indeed playing some great football well done.

I heard Ando was on for 2 years and will continue on next season. From what Ive seen the forward coach i think it was when they split huddles at the breaks seemed more capable coach then the other 2 and the B's coach seems a very good coach as well. Cove may regret not looking deeper into a coach Ando has a long record of straight sets and Prelim loses and they are a far better side then what they have produced or Ive at least seen.

They have the best attack in the comp yet watching Sunday they are very lazy. Talls dont chase and the smalls dont work hard at all to chase and get front and Centre. Backline was very small but I thought held themselves very well against a much larger forward-line which was recieving unpressured kicks and constant attack their run is great out of defence but it comes straight back in with what looks like lazy Midfielders and Forwards .

I hear that they are very unsettled side with players been chopped and changed around every week and that showed Sunday some players obviously out of position. On the list i think should be a new coach, bigger defender and some hard nosed smalls maybe a proper small forward as well. They have blooded some quality juniors by the looks but a very dissapointing end for the Cobras.

To be fair to Ando he has the knowledge and has built up a reputation behind him that most are waiting for something to go wrong. Plus I dont beleive you have given enough credit to Porties They had two back on the bench before 1/4 time who could not go on in the game. Porties has had to blood quite a few young players to cover long term injuries to some pretty useful footballers in Aaron Petereson and Peter Dobbins along with Nathan Sincair and Mat Chambers in recent weeks

On what do you base they have the best attack in the comp? MVale scored more points for during the home and away season and played all the top sides apart from Cove twice! Surely the best attack in the comp should be able to score more than everyone else Turk?

If thats true then that would be dissapointing for Flaggies - they have a pretty young side and you would have thought they could take their gutsy last round performance into 2008.

In my opinion they look like the most capable club out of the rest of the pack to break into the top 6. Hopefully they can keep the core of their young players - having another strong A grade team can only be good for the league.

I'm from the SAAFL so this may be a stupid question, but how do Porties get a home prelim final when they finished 6th?

If you're referring to Matt Size i would be astounded if he left. His father played plenty of games there and is the major sponsor, having said that stranger things have happened.

Same as most leagues, the finals venues are set before the finalists are known. If you asked any of the Emu boys i'm certain they would not rather play anywhere else, great oval and even better atmosphere, the league in their wisdom changed the GF to South's home ground a couple of years ago, ask anyone on this forum, has no where near the same atmosphere... Another great move by the SFL decision makers.

Bring him down, he'll go down the same track as that juice bloke from brighton, who thought he'd dominate but cant get a touch out of a forward pocket
