Hes just not a good coach.

I dont care how bad a coach is Cove are a better side than porties. Must of had a bad day or something. Cant blame it all on the coach! players need to create there own enthusiasm, maybe they were flat and thought the game was won.... Just my thoughts.

totally agree Hills - the players were the ones out there - they stuffed it big time!! I reckon they had that game pencilled in for sure (especially after Quarter time) from what i've heard. they had it won mentally.

Obviously the smart money would be on a Morphies / Reynella GF again but as seen yesterday finals footy can conjure up some major surprises. Porties got within a goal of the emus during the season and i believe that this weeks match is @ porties - they would have alot of confidence and team spirit at the moment. With Mannion, Tedmanson and Brown all playing forward they def have enough firepower to kick a winning score.

Brighton seem to be suited to the bigger grounds but i think Reynella's size will get them in the end.

Can anyone confirm whether Flaggies played some B/A graders?
Couldnt believe Flaggies had a banner for their team to run through. Not sure what was worse...the banner or what was written on it.
For those who didnt see it, it read "Sunday A's". Congratulations on the win, but C'mon Falcons...

HAHA no Flaggies did not play any A Graders, and the blokes that had played some B Grade throughout the year were all legitimate C Grade selections aswell, no dodgey moves on the selection table.

And as for the banner, what we arent aloud to have some team/club spirit with a banner? And as for what was written on it... you guys dont have a sense of humour??? Pretty poor post there Dutchy...

Each to their own reppoh. I said congratulations on the win mate!

To your credit, some of your players looked much better than C grade standard, and less errors by your mob won you the game. Its always hard at this time of year knowing what players will play in which grade because of flag chances.

Nothing wrong with team/club spirit mate, and i thought your supporters were great turning up in big numbers, but look at it from the other side..."Sunday's A's" What the???

I'm not having a dig at you either mate, and cheers for the Congratulations, has been a long time in between drinks as far as Senior Premierships go.

But once again 'Sunday A's'... have you not heard the term before? Its our A Grade team of the Sunday... no reference whats so ever to the clubs A Grade side or anything like that.

I get the point and didnt think it was linked to you guys playing A graders or anything...

Our line of thought was that if you go to the trouble of making a banner, you would write something inspirational on it.

Anyway, congrats on the win and getting your club on the board. Lets hope the winning feeling can work its way up the grades for you blokes...

Dutchman, I think you'll find that most C grade teams have players who are better than C grade standard. But for what ever reason, work, etc play on a Sunday. The one that stands out from your mob would be Harris. Big lad who can take a contested mark. Couldnt kick to save his life yesterday, but you cant tell me he couldnt at least play B grade.

And for Flaggies I think you'll find that only one bloke in that team yesterday played more B grade games than C grade games, and it would have only been by a couple.

Jono i see the Cove also played alot of Under 18s from this and last year N Evans, Miller, Colquhon to that list above. They seemed a very young side which maybe at times why they were rather inconsistant. The also looked to have some big roles as well during the season high expectations on such young players. I saw the MV game during the year and the end of the last quarter the FB lines ages were 17, 19, 18 with a handful of games between them against a side like MV seemed to throw them to the wolves. Maybe Andos looking towards a longer term gain? Surely not with a club with some big potential would he?

Not sure what ando's movements are next year, hasn't been a great deal of talk about that yet. But if he was to move on, i'm sure tremma would be a great replacement. Knows and loves his footy and is a good bloke, has coached the 2's well this year.

Not sure about Andos movements but ive heard Vicky is moving onto greener pastures. already rumoured to be talking to jervious is my mail. It will be interesting to see how many of the younger blokes cove can hold onto when the experienced players like vick etc are soon to be moving on??? Maybe cove has had there couple of years in the sun.... and all the got was burnt.
