There's only one problem with Richards, he's not good enough..which is why he doesn't get a gig when we are at full strength.

I feel REB that he cost you guys of any real shot at wining the game. I mean he just plotted along, 28 from 101 balls, he makes katich look like a slogger.

Redbacks got up, and BLUES = SPOONERS
But alas, no spot in the final for SA either.

The end to todays game was brilliant, just would have been better if we didn't know that it was all going to be for nothing when it was happening. Sorta made it hard to get too excited about the last couple of wickets. Still, its always good to see the Redbacks win.

Can't blame us then for coming up with conspiracy theories given that this joker was actually considered for higher honours.

Richards played in one of those Aust XI games at Hobart the last time England scored and scored a century in that match. Since then his play has fallen away dramatically, he has even come close to losing his spot in grade cricket in Sydney.

As for the Blues being spooners that much is true, but if you take out half a dozen players out of a cricket side then you aren't going to be winning any matches, and yes, while we do have a wooden implement, we also have some silverware in which to stir the pot with! As the Jellybacks, it's another season of winning fugg all but hey at least you've got one, that's right, one member in the Australian squad. Your lot is really coming ahead in leaps and bounds under Flipper.

I couldn't beleive how late they played, it was like 7:15pm when they finnally won. Obviously given the lost overs they could play on after 6pm but a very late finish.
