Herein lies the concern, needs to capitilise and go on with those starts.

Very true Bedge, but a good concern nevertheless. Travis is still young and has mastered the hardest part of batting... getting a start. The future is very bright for him once he develops the stamina/concentration to bat long.
He is the only one of the potential bats to rise above the pack this week thusfar. Laubschagne and Renshaw are falling a long way behind the pack and Pattinson didn't aid his cause in this game. Bancroft (today), Burns and Harris have chances to push on over the next few days.

He's averaging 51 at test level with one century from 14 innings, at least you know what you're gonna get not like the rest of the muppets that look like millionaires one minute and paupers the next.

Sorry but I'd be accepting that while we're sitting where we are, everyone elses averages are inflated because we smash the minnows, Head is consistent regardless of the opposition, his mental stamina will mature as he does, he's only 25 still.

Great!!

The Redbacks have poorly managed this team. Heard Sayers needed another week or two to get fit but they played him and he broke down, same with Worrall, had not bowled much and needed couple more weeks, but rush him back to replace Sayers and he goes down again.

No wonder why we can’t attract decent players, we can’t even manage the ones we have.

Surely major changes are required on and off field at the SACA at seasons end.
There are no stupid questions, just stupid people.

Wouldn't say "joy", we cop them every bloody season, we need back up.

I'd sooner have Morkel in there over Mennie nowadays, Winter and Worrall have years on their side and can take us further, Sayers needs to overcome the niggles and get back to the player that had him as the best medium pacer in the country.

It's all hypothetical anyway, Morkel lives in NSW and will continue to.
