The time on the SANFL scoreboard says 7:40pm and has for 10 minutes. Be good if it had a time clock also. But it seems to be ticking over OK, which I guess is the main thing.

I wouldn't put all your faith in it. last couple of time I've followed games using with it the scores have actually gone backwards a few times

P.S. If it is correct...never mind JTC plenty of time left...Jimbo et al hang your heads in shame you doubters

Never lost the faith JAS. Always knew we would get up to win

Cheers JAS. Was listening to RPH and on the Roost gameday. too much happening to post on here.

what a great game of footy.

Sorry Jimbo, don't agree about North wanting it more. All Sturt, 1st half, just ran out of steam and options. Jarman made some crazy moves that paid off, not least taking the 3/4 time team talk to the Grogies.

Come on North. WWT next week.

Pity that North did not honour the 'gentleman's agreement' made at halftime for the game to be a draw. This was meant to deny the Eagles the double chance. Sturt honoured it by playing dead for a quarter and a half, why did North not?
Cheers

Our first two quarters and 5 minutes of the third I would say we were playing dead?

Just another point though, was this game good for either team? Both will try to put a positive spin on half the game, but going 50 points behind so early isn't what North would have wanted leading into finals, and sturt letting a 50 point lead slip like that would likewise be less than ideal. Glenelg and the Eagles, and the dogs if one of these teams get that far will all be pleased to see what will definitely be looked at as significant weakness in these teams.

Well said Graham! North's first half was very ordinary as was Sturts equally very good considering some of the players they were missing. I think both teams can take something out of it and use this week hopefully. North still needs to play 4 quarters of consistent football and learn to handle early pressure and run and keep their decision making and skills up accordingly. Sturts runners last night exposed us for lack of leg speed and manning up in the first half but then Sturt looked slow after half time so it might just be the team with the momentum and confindece always looks quicker?

North's lack of speed wasn't helped with injuires to Ryswyk who looks like missing this week plus playing Motlop with a bad ankle and now he looks like missing 2-3 weeks (if we are still in it) with a driver.

Half the battle in finals is confidence and belief - most of its played above the shoulders

That's why running down a 50 point deficit is a great lead up for the finals - you wouldn't plan it that way but it's all about BELIEF

Maybe the Roosters have finaly found it
