Comedians At The Fringe

Anyone been in to see any? Any good? I still wanna get in to see Ross Noble but probabl'y wont be able to.

Went to Thebby on Thursday night for Dave Hughes. Just piss funny, it's good to see the bloke able to swear a bit more than what he can on TV. He needs that freedom to use the word 'dickhead' if he wants. He even got a sledge in on Salisbury, and was saying his show last night (Friday) was going to be taped for a new DVD.

Anyone see Arj Barker or Lano & Woodley or Danny Bhoy or anyone?

Tom Gleeson, Michael Chamberlin, Charlie Pickering and Justin Hamilton performed at our uni last Tuesday for a charity fundraiser. Hell funny. Tom Gleeson was asking people in the crowd if they were from the country and what town they were from, then spent the next few minutes bagging that town.

Tom Gade (or Glade, or wtf his name is) ... Canadian bloke been playing at the Gov, even funny when sober ... There's a somewhat quirky show within the GOED called "Crash" which I thought was somewhat entertaining ...

Mrs. Pseudo dragged me to see Judith Lucy a couple of weeks ago.

Very average. Not dull or unentertaining, but by no means side-splittingly funny either. It takes more than calling Johnny Howard a wanker to make me laugh.

Saw BRAD OAKES die on stage one night at the University of Canberra bar.

Very bizarre experience.

He threatened to beat people up in the audience and resorted to calling us 'uni' f@#$wits who'll end up on the dole etc.

Saw Fat Pizza a few weeks ago which was OK (although Habib still cracks me up), and Lano and Woodley on Sun night which was better imho .. Not ridiculously funny, but they possess a lot more talent ...

A mate of mine plays the part of "Sandy Ball" so will probably try and get along to his show at the Adelaide Bowling Club before it's over ..

Brad's a very funny guy but when he turns it's ugly unfortunately. Saw it once - not pleasant.
Can highly recommend Lano and Woodley particulary if it's true this is their last tour. Very funny guys and really nice blokes as well.
