Absolutely.. unfortunately while Khawaja should come under the microscope for his form, if Head doesn't capitilise on this start i fear more scrutiny and questions will be asked of him first. :(

Our leading run scorer last series, the more games he plays at the top the more mature he will become, he's just turned 25.

I agree with you.. but the cynic in me has seen how players away from the "Big 2" (WA & NSW) have been treated over the years has me constantly worried lol.

Exactly. Trav came into this summer with his spot probably the most in doubt and he will end up as our leading run scorer for the summer and with a ticket to England. Sure he needs some polish but he is doing ok IMO

If they keep him at 5 when Smith returns he will become an 8-10K run player, they messed about with Ponting early in his career and chucked him up to 3 too early, fortunately his extreme talent seen him bounce back to be one of our best ever.
Same as Blewett, he was smashing the runs out at 6 then he became a gap filler.
