Looks quite balanced and even across the board - no easy games in the top 4 grades.

The PDCA Under 14's are performing well in the SAMCA Cup.

They knocked off the highly fancied North Eastern yesterday after copping some extreme sledging that was way over the top for that age group, their coach carried on like an idiot from the sidelines, even one of his own players called him a f***wit, was very classy.

We've been known to have the odd feral here and there over the years but it was very poor yesterday.

Yeah, he copped a fair bit of stick yesterday when he was batting then came on when the game was slipping away to bowl out the danger man in a tidy spell then took a pretty good catch to get the skipper out.

I only got there for the arse end but the lads and parents seemed pretty happy to win after how the day went along, he reckons that's the worst sledging he's ever come across, he even copped it after hitting two 6's in succession.

Haha.. Craigmore have the worst sledging game in G2 - they gave me plenty when we played, the best was the bloke at second slip telling me how poor I was, then I hit a 6 and he proceeded to tell me how yuck that shot was.. two balls later knicked up and he dropped a dolly...

So I turned around and told him.. "Now that's yuck pal" ;)

Hmmm, I'll have to see if I can pick who it would've been, I never really copped much from them, back in the earlier days there was a fierce rivalry.

Not sure who he was, big fella think his name was Baker - amusing that he had advice for me, but didn't know which end of the bat to hold himself.

The other real mouthy prick was Jackson - funnily enough another guy who was no good..

matty normally is pretty quiet. best one came from McEwan. somewhere down the lines of telling Jackson to go to Ashley and martin. even brett had a laugh at that one

McEwan is a pest.. but yes that was a pretty good moment

Although McEwan is a space cadet, and that was the moment he forgot what he was supposed to be doing and was only a matter of time before he got out.

Another close loss for you lads on the weekend.. making hard work of sewing up that 4th spot!

Have invited Smithfield into the equation, and Units/Royals closing behind.. probably should've been sitting 3rd.

Their season defining match will be against the Blues in round 13, playing Riverside and Dublin the next two weeks retards them being one dayers, Angle Vale play the Gardens and Dublin in two dayers and Craigmore play Riverside in a two dayer in the last round, an outright is imperative for any of these three clubs to cement a spot in the 4, the odds of a finals berth seem against Virginia but they always seem to find a way to get things done when needed.
