For us I’ve got Jordan Ridley as a smokey. Rated very highly at the club and barring injury is a real possibility if playing most weeks

Just had a look at the betting, Hawthorn recruit Jack Scimshaw eligible somehow

I think Ratugolea (Cats) and Scrimshaw are good chances
July 11th 2012....

Under 21 at Jan 1st and less than 10 games so Scrimshaw qualifies easily

If Fogarty gets a run for Adelaide, he'll be in the mix. Walsh, King, Ratogolea and the dark horse, Setterfield.

Agree with this list. I wonder how Rankine may go as a first year. Pity he's with GC. May not have opportunities to show class.

On the contrary, I think he will be given a fair bit if license to show why he was drafted in the first place. I reckon Dew will want him playing his natural game, might actually generate some interest up there too.

The current odds are ridiculous

Walsh at @2.25 with the next best Setterfield $13

I might be biased but Constable has a year in the system so he can run out the season even though Walsh is aerobically elite.

Yep, I wouldn't be taking the $2.25 in a hurry, especially since he hasn't even been nominated yet.

Butters and Drew offer some value from Port.
