He and Gerard Whately are currently at a couple's retreat patching things up.

Ashwin is pretty average outside of India. Lyon bowls well everywhere

Tend to agree jim was just the amount of ahhhhhh bowls / chance balls he has bowled all ready today don't see to much of him live just stats which as u say heavily dominated by sub continent pitches !

Ashwin has more tricks and doesn’t have the benefit of a world class fast bowling unit to support him at the other end.
Lyon builds pressure over time and wears batsmen down whereas Ashwin appears to be constantly looking to win the game for his side.

The ball that got Harris shouldn’t of troubled any top order batter

I think the inside edge exaggerates how much the ball moved so Finch is a tad unlucky but still a very rash shot three deliveries in and not what you want to see. No need to get the knives and pitch forks out for Finch just yet I reckon, I'll reserve my judgment until he bats again to see if he makes any adjustments next innings.northerner wrote:Reckon 80% of those who know cricket would be saying NO SURPRISE to see Finchs castle destroyed in just 3 balls against a moving ball.
