Does she have any doctors certificates?

For most here you don't need one for having a single day off.

She has been a serial offender for a long time and more often than not she will get on her bportal as soon as she returns and classify it as annual leave if it's multiple days.

It's her managers fault IMO, she created the monster and didn't put a stop to it when it was starting to become a problem, yet she'd come and whinge to me about her to no end and tell me what she's going to do about it upon her return.

she has messaged me many times while being absent warning me against going to certain KFC's, telling me that she's stuck in hospital with an illness that the doctors can't diagnose.

She is so full of shit, we have caught her out at least 10 times.

Yeah it doesnt help when the Manager isnt strict on things.
Our policy is for mondays, fridays and before/after public holidays then a Doc certificate is needed.
If she is never there, they could just make her job part time?? But that might suit her more...

It kills her area, they already got downsized once about 12 months ago and whinged that they were all over-worked, obviously not the case.

It's very, very easy to get signed off as unfit to attend work, if requested it isn't as easy to get signed off as fit to attend work if her medical certificates are all considered.

I know you're taking the piss here - however one generally wouldn't endanger their own life by a piece of onion falling off their snag and lets face it - some operators are pretty slack in their placement of onion.

However an unsuspecting bystander may have fallen and done themselves a mischief as a result of said fallen onion.

Unfortunately, it's the litigious world we live in nowadays .
