Attention Dipshit No. 2, LF was saying that some other clubs like E.Bay/Victor/Strath would be paying MORE than the Creeks NOT 1/2 !!!!!!!!!!
I Suggest that YOU Read a Bit s l o w e r to give that slow working brain of yours time to comprehend the meaning of quote.

Speaking of people who are Dillusional, to suggest that the points system is going to be introduced on the account of L/Creeks' player payments is ABSURD to say the Least and has totally Decimated any Credibillity you may have had left. :vom: :vom: [-X [-X :butthead: :butthead:

I've heard you talk some crap on this thread FM but this just about tops it.. If you actually take the time to look through the actual playing list you will see that Langhorne Creek have got most of their Senior Colts from the last 5 years now playing senior footy. The likes of Shane Rothe, Felipe Hill, Nick Warren, Matt Footner and the McHughes boys all played colts for the club and have now developed into some of the A Grade's best players.

I think the management of the club should be commended on the way they've held onto their youngsters and developed them. A lot of other teams around the place are losing a substantial percentage of their young players after they finish playing Senior Colts.

Next time get your facts straight.

I hate to break it to you buddy but I have a couple of family members aswell as a former team mate of mine who is playing at the creeks, they all have very different spins on things to yours limb. Tell me, does this count as 'checking my facts' or are you the authority on all things creek?
Supposing you are for a minute can you maybe tell me the truth behind tha wine label or the apparent recent property purchase rumours?

For your information FM, The wine Label Project is a Community Fund Raising Project with the Profits Shared among the communities Sporting clubs, CFS and other Projects. The Langhorne Creek Football Sports and Social Club just happen to have the Producers licence. It's Groundbreaking initiatives like this that typifies the success of the district in Buisness and Sport.
Just an Interesting Fact.
Langhorne Creek are Reigning Premiers in 'A' Grade Cricket, Div 1 Bowls, Div 1 Tennis and also Currently TOP of the 'A' Grade Netball, all without Paying any Players so Being top in the footy shouldn't come as a Surprise.

At a Guess, i would say maybe a small % of the Profits from the wine sales to England are used to pay some players but a large majority goes to other sporting clubs and community projects.
MT79, u should stick to concentrating on those expert Greyhound previews of yours so i can cheat off you and survive in these tough times of limited trots to bet on.

JJ the dicktator! You must be Dipshit No 3 no doubt.
Firstly thankyou for explaining to me about the wine label scheme, I sincerely did not know the ins and outs.

Creeks are paying big money to the imports they have, no ones denying they may not have as many as others however they still have them. The way you have explained it your entire town plays for the love of sport which may be the case however I didnt know you were all hippies? Your town is in a unique position where local business is thriving creating opportunity to keep youngsters in town and employed etc.
I congratulate you on your hard work however in considering this I would think you'd take into account due to the fact that your kids are at the arse of the GSFL geographical area there are none of them that would travel to other towns to play unlike in victor where its kids change clubs to play with the mates they hangout with at school etc for example Ebay and Victor.

My original comment was tongue in cheek however I feel you owe me a great deal of gratitude because the entire forum has come to the realisation that your just as much of a dipshit as me and P32. Oh Limb, you can be Dipshit No.4.

Well I might as well be dipshit number 5 and have my say. It sounds like people are upset beacuse L Creek are one of the best managed clubs in the state. I dont play for the creeks but you have to admire the way they have gone about things. Yes they do have a massive advantage beacuse of the wine industry, but they have been smart about the way they invest money (plus they do things like get council grants via smart proposals for failities etc). If you are having a go at the Creek about the amount of money they pay to players get on the GSFL web site and check out their list (there are a heap of locals) and I know that the non locals are not getting a much as people think.

If you are an E Bay supporter, there is no way you can have a go at the Creek. We understand that you are upset about finishing 6th, but you cant tell me that the likes of Blum, Heuskes and Stokes are playing for free.

One last note to the GSFL. Please play finals at Goolwa and Encounter Bay. They are the 2 best ovals in the comp. Playing finals at an oval like Mt Compass is ridiculous!

Langhorne Creek are a well run club, and they do have a lot of locals playing there. Theres no doubt theres money up there but u can never prove what any club is paying players and whatever anyone says noone believes anyway.

Encounter Bay is one of the worst ovals to play finals at! Its massive compared to any other ground in the league and its windy as all hell there. I think most players would say they would not like to play there and im grateful i only play there once a year.
Goolwa is a great deck, no complaints there!

Looks like you guys get as fired up as the div 1 SFL, good to see. Just quickly was wondering if anyone from Willunga reads this Aldinga are Enquiring about a pre season trial for next year. Thought it would be good for the area maybe make it into a light charity event?
Thanks and good luck to those lucky enough to be playing finals footy.

Gotta say this forum has more interesting these days! Rodney Fox makes a good point about Willunga v Aldinga being a good fundraiser unfortunately most people will leave at half time, beacuse Aldinga will struggle to score. As for the Bays next year who knows. Thy couldn't be happy with 6th (sorry FM I meant equal 4th)!

He will spin you up a good story about where they are heading. I got in trouble last time I said that the Bays were gone, wouldn't make the finals (Iwas right) and my point of view is that Bassani hasn't been very impressive. They had heaps to work and should have been in the five

No quite sadly Hills on this occasion LF is right, Bassani's tenre was questionable for sure. The silly season hasn't commenced yet however there are rumblings as always but its hard to tell the ins and outs.
You'd think Bassani is gone along with a few under performing recruits but in good news Heuskes has already resigned along with Blum, Stokes, Love twins and Baylis.

Yourself staying on with Jervois next year or are you not giving that out yet?

It would be handy if Bays could keep Hueskes. Stood him in round 1. Very smart footballer and he seems to be great for the young blokes around the place. He has a bad rep but he seemed like a pretty good bloke. Bayliss was also quite handy until he got a shoulder injury.
