I hear our coach from the previous 3 years, Mark Kamenic will be coaching Houghton next year. He's already trying to lure some of our players up the hill. Good luck doing that.
Now the whole club will get behind the B grade and hope they can have a win this week and square off with GG in the big one the following week. Blackfriars stand in our way
Interesting, didnt he coached there a few years ago or was that a different person?

I would think that is coz heccies would've been 90 odd point better team than them.. maybe HV wanted better draft picks too

Hope Valley didn't put up much of a fight after quarter time. At the same time, Hectorville were pretty good. The premier will come from saturday's prelim

So u keep sayingeither way you'll need those draft picks after a disgraceful performance like saturday
maybe they should've ruled in WC's favour to play, might've given heccies a better performance to play GG this Sat

If you knew the facts, you would know it never should have even gone to the league for a decision to be made. We won the game fair and square. Just a silly comment really. I think Golden Grove will be better off having another game under their belt after Uni, then a bye, then a semi final.
Heccies played a lot like they did when they smashed you guys in the minor round. I reckon you blokes wouldn't want to face them if they knocked off GG this week. A few doubts might set in. You might ask yourselves, "are we really as good as we keep telling everybody we are?"

Either way we deserve to be in div 5, from day one the team on and off the field have been working towards this and it's great reward for a lot of hard work.

now we have to play GG at their ground. we will hav our full team bar 1 midfielder to choose from. we were undermanned both times we played them this season but we are confident of knocking them off and going back to div 5.
friar boys-were golden grove cocky on sat?
You boys must've played well mate congrats.. GG weren't cocky at all really, they were 4 goals to 1 (kicked on the siren) up in the 1st.. we just kept persisting and once we were level we knew we could over run them - they put all of it on the line in the first and we were a bit more fitter. one person who is cocky is there coach, reported for calling an umpire a f*@khead at half time coz the poor boy was under too much pressure.. it all starts at the top as far as i'm concerned and behavior like that lost the game for them, they got drilled at half time. who wants to play for a coach like that!
