VETERAN Heath Grundy will play on in 2019 after signing a new one-year deal with Sydney.

Grundy's future appeared clouded when he was dropped for the first time in years late this season.

However, AFL.com.au understands the 32-year-old has re-signed with the Swans this week and will extend his career into a 15th season next year.

The Swans are expected to make an official announcement shortly.

Yeah just read that. Probably needs something to freshen him up a bit. Not sure a trip to St.Kilda is the key.

Might not be the last one either, Lloyd still hasnt signed but youd think if Hanneberry goes it would free up some space.
Swans will probably have to pay some of Hanneberry's salary too, cant imagine him being worth now what he was when Sydney signed him. Either that or they accept unders to get him off the books, 3rd rounder will probably get it done in that case

I am ok with it... Wouldn't be on much and McVeigh especially has a bit to offer, very good this year. I thought Grundy was very good this year too

St Kilda have made one rubbish decision after another recently, they'll do this.

I'd have kept McVeigh and moved on Grundy.

One can only assume Grundy got a deal because Jonas said no thanks?

Surely they couldn’t lose Parker, Hannebery and Lloyd. Would sort of explain why McVeigh and Grundy are playing on
