You believe these punching prone dudes believe there currently is no penalty so they believe its ok to punch at the moment?
And your solution is to minutely enhance a penalty which already exists?
He punched my arm... he deserves a week for that!
My point is youll never stamp out punches totally

Absolute disgrace if the Saints get a priority pick.Booney wrote:Caro made an excellent point on Monday night on Classified.
It's not the look of the game that is the problem, it's not congestion, it's not scoring or lack thereof, it's 3 clubs, Carlton, Gold Coast and St Kilda being a rabble on the field and not much better off it that should be the first thing the AFL worry about and invest time and money to fix.
Commented that all three clubs could be in line for a priority pick at this years draft.

Correct me if I'm wrong but wont their always be 3 clubs down at the bottom of the ladder.
Says everything about the mickey mouse nature of the competition that they would entertain the idea of AFL invention even further to make a team 'better'.

Yep, but you want the gap between top and bottom to be as small as possible.

Add this to giving them the best available players in the land, and then giving them the next best too for shits and gigs...what more do they need? How about auditing the way they run a f..king football department and making them actually be accountable for their work rather than rely on the AFL to hand them the best talent and soft draws to fix their f..k ups.

How long until we see 'Handicaps' in AFL football. Carlton start with a line of +30, that will make games exciting ha.
Surely it's getting to a point where it's that manufactured that it is the oval shaped balls version of the WWE.
Personally I just cant get my head around it all.

There is a big gap from bottom 3 to those just a few spots higher.
Those bottom 3, for the most part are uncompetitive.
The AFL ideally want every match to be a 50-50.
But the AFL, with 18 teams, no depth leads to these situations.
