Eagles vs South
103 points the margin, this is the first time Eagles have beaten South by 100 points or more. Previous best margin was 88 points, Round 17 2002.
25.9 (159) is the highest score by Eagles against South at Woodville, and 2nd overall against South.
16.4 (100) Eagles kicked in the 2nd half, a record against South for any half, previous was 12.8 (80) in Round 19 1994 at Football Park. For the first half it's 15.9 (99) in Round 1 this year.
Mark Passador passes 250 goals, I have him down now as 253 goals.
Nick Salter, Ben Schwarze and Passador kicked 6 goals each, it's the first time the Eagles have had 3 players kick 6 or more goals each in one match.

North vs West
0.3 (3) by West is the equal lowest score in the first half by West against North - also scoring 0.3 (3) in Round 2 2005 at Prospect.

Glenelg vs Sturt
Brant Chambers has become the 1st player to kick 100 goals in a season since Scott Hodges in 1996. Hodges also kicked his 100th in his 19th match of that year.

Another stupid question...

We've belted South three times this year. Would that be close to the highest combined whipping of club vs club in a season?

If we talk about three minor round matches, it could be. I'll have to work it out, but I know that Glenelg in 1975 beat Central by 141 and 238 points, so it won't be an average record.

141 & 238!

Wow! Obviously we won't be in the lead then, but perhaps a record for the Eagles vs any other club?

No, 256 points in total against Sturt last year. It's the 29th biggest winning totals by one club against another over three minor round meetings. A further 5 over 2 matches have gone higher than the 248 points margin. The 379 points is the record for either 2 or three minor round meetings.

I reckon this week could break the record of having the smallest ever crowd aggregate at a round of 4 SANFL games.

Whilst we have the highest losing margin record, we do also have the second highest winning margin record, as well as a couple of the highest winning scores against individual clubs.

We are happy with where things stand, just biding our time before returning fire at the bays for "that game".

5493, Round 23 2005. That is also the lowest average crowd for each match in a round - 1373.3.
