Best Players for South Gawler J Hay and C Hay... quality footballers introduced into the BLG... with more to come in to other clubs.
Well done to Freeling and South Gawler for being one step ahead of the competition ( clearances came through 10am saturday morning apparently). Kept Freeling finals hopes alive with a win over Kapunda but South Gawler coudn't get the job done against Willaston.
Also lack of communication between the BLG and SAAFL with the SANFL releasing the players saw a couple of clubs not play their new recruits on Saturday thinking they won't be cleared until Monday.
Oh well makes an interesting second half of the season now.

On another connected point - how is this happening with the points allocation/money cap, etc in place in community football?
Is there some special dispensation? There are about 90 to 100 Players to be shared out. What's the story?
I think its good for our league if every team has the same allowance, otherwise money talks.

Only 25 of these players would carry points though I'd imagine.
