Just returning the favour from our trip up the mountain.
Some entertaining games of footy for sure, most of us didn’t think we would pull off the comeback this week. I think both the undefeated sides were tested for a half but superior belief won out in the end.

Great day and some fantastic people involved there. Not many clubs invite you in for a drink and a bite to eat at half time in the 'burbs. Wish there was more of it! Cheers.

Been happening in SAAFL since I played
I just wish we had the facilities to do it (but the ACC don't like the plans for our gin palace)

Come to think of it, I think there was another club doing this(or maybe not now)
Walkies or Raggies maybe? haven't played them for years so not sure.

Their committee would invite opposition committee/officials up at half time for a feed and a drink.
@Fricky can tell us if it was them or not I guess..

Raggies do it and do it well.
We invite teams up for a drink which most have done this year. I make sure to thank as many of them when I'm at the club

Fricky, i thought your crowd was very low on saturday. Never seen Walkerville so empty especially the grandstand.

I'm sure the SFL learnt it off the GSFL

Unfortunately not, didn't think it be a good idea before running around for 2 hrs. Plenty of B/C graders had one and didn't hear one bad word about it
