Will Adcock's new nickname become Brearley (after the former English captain)?

A fantastic choice made on the assumption that he will have a good year with the willow.
Tremendous amount of pressure and I'll back him to rise to the challenge.

How could anyone possibly assume that he will have a good year with the willow with his Record??????????
MATT, are you his Brother, Father, Relation, Team mate???????????????

Matt isn't making the assumption; he's saying that the decision was made based on the assumption that Adcock'll have a good year.

Why are some of you bagging this appointment??? simply we have no one who is an immediate standout and Nathan was the only Redback to achieve his goals set out 12 months ago for the coming season.

I hope Cam Borgas gets first crack at the VC role as he is the next long term option

Its a pity his goal wasnt to at least play half the season! He only played 4 games last year! Now he's captain! He's been in the system for a long time, if he couldn't secure a spot in the team before now, why give him an assured spot? Has he captained before?

Nathan Adcock capt of our state side what a joke. This goes to show the sorry state of affairs the redbacks are at. Played his first game ten yrs ago and still has cemented a spot in the side (only 4 games last season). SACA need to seriously look at district cricket. There is a need to reduce the clubs which everyone is aware of. I believe d-grade should be scrapped from the district comp thus getting rid of dead wood and players not up to it. Also would like to see only one under 14s and 16s sides in each club this way there is only quality kids trying out. My club has pushed kids to district clubs only to see most of the boys used up or getting no quality coaching.
