1 -Daniel Harris, 27
2 - Cameron Borgas, 23
3 - Matthew Elliott, 36
4 - Darren Lehmann, 37
5 - Mark Cosgrove, 22
6 - Jason Borgas, 25
7 - Shane Dietz, 32
8 - Mark Cleary, 26
9 - Jason Gillespie*, 32
10 - Dan Cullen*, 23
11 - Shaun Tait*, 24

Depending on the pitch/national selection/form/injury, add
Paul Rofe, 26
Cullen Bailey*, 22
Ryan Harris, 27
Callum Ferguson, 22
Gary Putland, 21
Nathan Adcock, 29
Ben Cameron, 26

A few points here.

* Adcock named captain. I dont know why. He wouldn't even be in our best 15 players? His batting is generally average, and his spin is useless compared to Cullen and Bailey. He has had one good season (he only played 4 games), but in the past he has been disappointing. Unfortunately, he will knock someone more deserving out of the team.
* I think Elliot should be given a go at first, if he can do what he did in the One Dayers last year in the Shield this year, he'll be dangerous.
* When we cant play two spinners, would we go with Bailey or Cullen? To bring Bailey in, probably drop Elliot, move Borgas to three, and put Deitz opening with Harris?
* Should C Borgas come straight back in? Deitz is a damn good opener, and I thing Dan Harris has done more than enough to keep his spot.

Looking at the stats, I dodn't realise we only made THREE tons last season - Boof 136, Cossie 109, Deitz 100! Thats pathetic!

Pura Cup
D. Harris
J. Borgas
M. Cosgrove
D. Lehmann
C. Borgas
N. Adcock
S. Dietz (wk)
R. Harris
J. Gillespie
C. Bailey
S. Tait/P. George

I'm not sure two spinners will be required with Adcock and Lehmann also in the team. I'd rather go with an extra medium pacer and stronger batting depth. Cosgrove to first drop and Lehmann to number 4. Ferguson, Elliott and Manou need to perform in Grade cricket/2nd XI to win back their spots as Dietz did a great job last year and Jason Borgas was impressive in his first few games.

One Day
M. Elliott
M. Cosgrove
C. Borgas
D. Harris
D. Lehmann
N. Adcock
G. Manou
R. Harris
J. Gillespie
D. Cullen
S. Tait/M. Cleary

Elliott and Manou are proven performers in one day cricket so I'd have them in the side to start with. Cosgrove to open and Cam Borgas to first drop with Harris and Lehmann to guide the innings through. Cullen is a quality one day spinner and I'd have him in above Bailey.
