TDU - see your POV but have to agree with GTS, it's not so much a toss of the coin, I reckon Lofty have the edge. A well-earnt win going into the finals and playing against a team that hasn't beaten them all year, my $$'s on Lofty.
As for the games on Saturday, your b grade FF couldn't miss a f'n thing. He was a dead eye dick and just went about his game. Agreed that it was a top game of b grade. As for your number 66 and his weak shot on Warby, just gutless.
Kartinyeri in your A's was pretty good, mind you he isn't accountable. Which is fine when your team has the ball and you're hanging around the middle on your own, but if IB turn the ball over it can put a lot of pressure on your defence. But I agree with GTS, Kartinyeri on his left, over the shoulder - great goal.
Lofty faded which is a bit unusual, holding about an 8 goal lead I thought "here we go"...but they dropped it and IB made the most. A good weekend coming up, except having to rin Stuart O Grady to find out how to get the the Lofty Blackwood game.

Maybe Fleety should worry less about yapping, cos i saw him talking up a storm to your FB as well.
if I were Maddo, I would have handed Fleety a bottle of shut the hell up.

Both the A & B grade games at Lofty were great to watch. Reckon IB will get a few quality players back in the B's. Also thought a few players were a bit quiet than normal, I'm sure that will all change now finals are here. Does anyone know if Naught's is alright? Didn't look to good on sat all iced up.

Correct Rock, arguably the two best performers this year in McLean (CHB) & Sodomka (C) were missing on Saturday, both will suit up this week now that the serious stuff has started I'd imagine.

Naughto was moving quite well on the dance floor Sat night... :) and as GTS mentioned earlier an absolute gun, when firing he is nearly untouchable... He's had a tough couple years with injury so fingers crossed he hasn't copped another on the eve of finals.

Saw the Country Division final on Saturday at Kangarilla in the A's between Kersbrook and Meadows and it was certainly a very entertaining game of football. Obviously it hurt Kersbrook not having Roger James in the lineup but they looked to have it in the bag at three quarter time and after a couple of missed opportunities in the last quarter Meadows got on a roll and took the game out. Thought young Farrugia did well on Dawe early but Chad worked his way into it as the game went on and Brett James and Kane Paues certainly had good games as well. Meadows had several good contributors and it'll be interesting to see if they have enough to be able to beat Kangarilla this weekend at Callington.

Cheers 2 Old 2 Slow. Would imagine McLean & Sodomka will sharpen up that B grade side just that little bit more to go the next step. Thought there was a height issue there in IB backline that McLean would normally balance up. Must say IB defence has been rock solid all year.

yeh Chucky certainly does the job asked every week back there... And to have a smaller bloke on Fleet is a real risk with the set of paws he has, dare say that match up picks itself for the next encounter.

And as for Sodomka, just hope the opposition dont play 2 blokes on him as we end up hearing about it all night...

Yeh, you're right Chucky is the man for that job. Not to knock Hanny or Hampy but just too much height and speed for those boys. Donks will tell us all about it anyway... regardless. You know that.
