The APFL needed an 8th team, given the proximity of Two Wells and Virginia, it made sense to allow Angle Vale in, their timing was a little out IMO, probably could've made the move 3 years sooner, I'm just saying that is the problem in the netball from my perspective.
Yes, it will be harder for Longies, Hummocks and Hamley to compete, especially in the juniors where Angle Vale have an impeccable record, their 17's have finished minor premiers for the past two seasons with one loss in each season, they won the flag by 82 points last season.
The 14's have finished 3rd both seasons of their existence.
It is a different feel at Angle Vale home games compared to the more rural games.
