HeartBeatsTrue wrote:So the rules of this February premiership season are:
(from sanfl.com.au)
* 12 matches to be played across two days – four on Friday February 9 and eight on Saturday February 10
* Each match consists of four 10-minute quarters
* Team in front at final siren wins
* Penalty shoot-out finale from 30m in front of goal to decide winning team if scores tied at final siren
* 12 players per team on the field – four midfielders, four forwards and four defenders
* Unlimited interchanges. Interchanges occur at points in each sector of the ground (midfield, forward, back)
* 9 points awarded for any goal kicked from outside 50m arc
* Ball to be kicked in after any score, goal or behind
* Ball to remain in play if rebounds off a goal or point post
* Last TOUCH out of bounds rule enforced, as opposed to Last Possession used in minor round

"Team in front at final siren wins" : What an interesting concept... :)

NB. Yeah i know, no scoring with kicks after siren I suppose.

I'd like to know which brewery chimney will be painted after this?

This guys chimney

What? Two different teams for two different games. Are you not taking this seriously?

There's a live YouTube stream of all matches. Eagles guernsey's are very different.

Watched 5 minutes of it. Can see why Central didn't bother with it.

I'm not up to date on the rules of fast footy, do you get extra points for wearing the ugliest possible guernsey?

Handy having the live stream, get to watch my brother play his first game for the Bays and I rang mum and got her onto it so she can watch it too. West killed them that quarter.

Again people find this out by accident, no promotion at all saying that it was going to be live streamed...

Agree. Lime green is for umpires. You would only wear pink if it enhanced your club colours.
