the wonder elephant wrote:so mylor arent taking the challenge and going to a1 fatal ? have you retained the giff this season or is he going to his 4th club in as many years .. hamish and the ling in a2s should make for some fun times this summer
Another year I think before we consider "the big step".
Dutchy wrote:well Paul Nixon, should be able to confirm the Stirling rumour, is there anything better than seeing Stirling fail?
Now Fatty you should know if this is all true or not!
Eastern Ranges need to go to A2's or get booted out of the comp IMO
I missed AGM Part 1 and had to get this info from an unreliable source (said source has ginger hair and once played for the Ling - hence he is not to be trusted)
we scibs had our agm wedensday night and it was mentioned that onkas were putting in a a2s side this year ..this came from a very reliable souce who was at the hills agm also mentioned there was nothing said about eastern ranges going to a2 but still dont rule it out think you still have a week or to b4 you have to nominate sides .bring on summer
the wonder elephant wrote:saw tarque sat night said he and hansie would be at glenelg this season ..do i belive this ??? not sure he is very hard to REID sometimes
I also ran into Tarque this saturday night as pissed as I was these were his words yeah I'll be there..............for at least half the season and laughed
well i got told from one of his good mates at the bay that he is waiting to see how his groin settles down, if it doesnt he will probably do what he did the other year and play and coach somewhere.
After beating eatern Ranges in the granny last year they seemed keen to put in an A2 team. Mind you, when reality sets in and players come/go things can change closer to summer.

sounds like last year when they recruited a gun recruit but he was so digusted at their pre-season training he quit before playing a game!
It definately will both very handy bats, the only other rumours i have heard around the hills is that Sam Russell is returning to Meadows?? can anyone else confirm that, he is also a very handy bat!!!
i was wondering what anyone can tell me about SCIB cricket club. what are the blokes like, oval location, and how would the hills association compare to say ATCA premier grade?

They're are plenty of SCIB scribers on this forum that can tell you what they're like. But can tell you Premier Grade Adelaide Turf is a fair bit stronger than Hills Cricket. Purely by numbers, Adelaide Turf has about 16 different grades of cricket, while the Hills have 4.
i understand there are a quite a few really decent cricketers in the hills though. i have played quite a bit against one of them that gets bagged pretty regularly on here, Mr. R Reid.
