well Paul Nixon, should be able to confirm the Stirling rumour, is there anything better than seeing Stirling fail?

Now Fatty you should know if this is all true or not!

Eastern Ranges need to go to A2's or get booted out of the comp IMO

I missed AGM Part 1 and had to get this info from an unreliable source (said source has ginger hair and once played for the Ling - hence he is not to be trusted)

After beating eatern Ranges in the granny last year they seemed keen to put in an A2 team. Mind you, when reality sets in and players come/go things can change closer to summer.

sounds like last year when they recruited a gun recruit but he was so digusted at their pre-season training he quit before playing a game!

Ok Stirling arnt fielding a D grade team, but i still think there might be a shortage of ovals. Another team might have to adopt Heathfield Primary

The Gators have got a handy past player back, can bat, can bowl. Must be 3-odd seasons since he last wore a bumblebee cap.

That would Ben Slack, a inclusion along side Bjordal's commitment that will add some much needed strength.

Spot on. We didn't think we'd have Bjords this year either. So a real bonus and should add some stability to the batting.

They're are plenty of SCIB scribers on this forum that can tell you what they're like. But can tell you Premier Grade Adelaide Turf is a fair bit stronger than Hills Cricket. Purely by numbers, Adelaide Turf has about 16 different grades of cricket, while the Hills have 4.

Thanks Cougar

i understand there are a quite a few really decent cricketers in the hills though. i have played quite a bit against one of them that gets bagged pretty regularly on here, Mr. R Reid.

how did SCIB fare last season.
