I disagree, I think he played the best football of his career in the middle to latter stages of 2016. He had a purple patch when he was playing as the Sydney lead ruckman and looked like, for 8 or 10 weeks anyway, that he might have been hitting his straps and at 27/28 at the time was perhaps living the "big blokes take longer" saying in real life.
I bag him as much as the next bloke, but anyone who has had their career cut short by injury you have to feel for, a little bit, anyway.
