They've got to get past the assault scheduled for Friday June 22.

Yeah that’s actually pretty disrespectful, and different to when some average joe says something like that

Tippett has been pretty average for a few years now but he was still a very good footballer at how at his peak

I disagree, I think he played the best football of his career in the middle to latter stages of 2016. He had a purple patch when he was playing as the Sydney lead ruckman and looked like, for 8 or 10 weeks anyway, that he might have been hitting his straps and at 27/28 at the time was perhaps living the "big blokes take longer" saying in real life.

I bag him as much as the next bloke, but anyone who has had their career cut short by injury you have to feel for, a little bit, anyway.

LOL, I did, but I don't care who it is, if injury stops them from reaching their potential then it's a pity.

Obviously slow period to AFL news, Jake Lever said nothing out of the ordinary in his interview and it has been blown out of proportion.....hate this time of year for footy reporting.

just read the herald sun article on it - seems more than fine to me - all he was saying is he enjoyed being back around his mates, who he didnt see that often because they wouldnt fly over to visit like his family did.
