Hey Heater what happened with your B Grade ump last week against Pooraka? Heard something that he wasn't very well-liked by a Bulls player.

One of our blokes got floored and a deep gash on the cheek blood every where and the bulls bloke was told to take 10 on the side and he didn't like it. Our ump last week was not a regular but has done a few games and it wasn't handled correctly IMHO.

Memo to SAAFL all club umpires should be made to undertake basic umpire training to handle these types of situations.

Will also add that this same umpire got decked by a bloke from Ingle Farm for sending him off and even the Farmers were cringing

With all this chatter on Eddie suiting up, When he coached us (Paralowie) he donned the guernsey a few times, but as a keg on legs and in his 40s or near on (i think) he didnt have much of an impact.. that was Div 7.

I think his value would be more in the heat he could take off the other key forwards. Whether he has an impact or not, you have to put a reasonable defender on him. Good move, keeps everyone guessing, i like it boys

Or has school finished so they dont need to hand their assignment in.

Other than that it was a pretty good game, pity pooraka beat mitcham or Haven would have had a home final.

yep the guy who put down the drink was throwing them this time  absoulte disgrace as far as I'm concerned and will be dealt with internally as well as any league action if that goes ahead. He should not have even pulled the boots on from what I have heard and was sent home at half time. In Hindsight I wished that I went to Alberton instead of witnessing that garbage

heard the guy throwin the punches was the captain and was still blind drunk from a bucks show friday night!!! well done pultney well done..

How has Matty Thomas gone at Unley Jets this season?

Very good player but very self centred. Wasn't very popular amongst his team mates at Uraidla last season. Word from there is that a few players went to the coach at the end of last season with an ultimatum that either Thomas goes or they would go.

Be interested to hear what the Jets boys think of him.

I know it's a bit late in the season for a 1st post, but this bloke is my tip for the Mail.
I've only seen him play twice but was clearly high in the votes both games, I know blokes at other clubs that rate him just as high.

Wears number 18 for those wondering who, floating ruckman who likes to drop back.
