Not Unearthed Leaper. Similar concept, but on tv.

Number two isn't The Godfathers. But good guess.

Surprised no one's got the Blue Heeler's theme yet.

Remaining questions:

2. Another Scottish band, this one takes their name from a family of movie baddies.

4. Seminal Aussie band which much later shared its named with a 90s US boy band which briefly had its own tv show (the US band that is).

9. Whose premature premonition about James Brown came true at Christmas time in 2006?

10. Who are the only people to take the bus according to the Fatimah Mansions?

12. Silverchair's first name? The show they were launched from? Why'd they change their name? And whose band is now happily using the same name? The Innocent Criminals/ Ben Harper's band

23. Who provided the Blue Heelers theme song?

Nope, not The Associates.

Hint: They're a newish band. The baddies were in a Spielberg film from the 80s.

The movie is on that list.
It starred a former US gridiron star, several teen stars (including one who was in an Indiana Jones movie) and featured the immortal phrase "hey yoouuuuuu guyyssss".

Nope, the program was on SBS, late night and IIRC Friday's.

The program only ran for about two years, but should've gone longer.
