Yes and no.. Trinity OS were DQ'd in the elimination final, but essentially the result of that game will be the same as Rd 1 Pulteney v Fitzroy - they'll be wiped, Roys awarded the win.. so really it's same same.
Tucker didn't play in 2016 and word is he was cleared after the club completed their assessment so was an oversight.. doesn't excuse what they did, but it was only one game which was awarded to Roys, rest of the season they were ok.
Didn't impact ladder, didn't affect relegation or top 5, so play on..
I don't believe it to be so straight forward. I believe the clubs themselves are responsible to make sure the points are allocated correctly for each player as they are registered, therefore appearing on your team sheet each week. So that would mean Pulteney have put incorrect paperwork in each week this year. Whether it put them over the points or not does not hide the fact the information provided was incorrect. I will be interested to see the leagues stance on this, especially after the Trinity incident.
We have to stop agreeing, people will begin to wonder..
Was just interesting that Oldman was quick to notice that Trinity had made an oversight, when his club has made an oversight 19 times this year..
Fitzroy turn the halfway mark 7-2 and it changes the dynamic of the comp slightly. But we will never know I guess
