Heart breaking loss by a goal down at porties I think from memory. Great season though.

Good luck tomorrow

Absolute heart break that day.

Your memory is correct, Porties @ Porties.

Fantastic bunch of kids back then, as are the current group of kids.

Yep, great game today, well played all, very entertaining. Kilburn had all the play in the last quarter with the goal umpire making a big decision with only seconds to go. Probably should have pinched it but credit to the Roos for hanging on.

Do you mean right now? No he definitely hasn't pulled the pin on us, but after 5 years I believe this will be his last.. very bad performance today, north haven showed why they have been the best team all year and if we play like we did today next week, we do not stand a chance! Very poor performance on our behalf but we are all up to the challenge next week.. Mark garner will be a massive out after snapping his leg clean today, but still believe we have the troops to get up next week!!

Goal kicking looked a bit awry. Could've been up more at theee quarter time?

Next weeks game is listed at the pasty?

Any truth to the rumours that Thommo going to be taking over Scott McGee's role as coach next year ?

North Haven would be hoping Eastern Park get up this week I would think. Eastern Park were never in it on the weekend, their skills were pretty ordinary. Cullen had a heap of it but didn't do much with it. Cochiarro and Merrett could not be stopped.

Rumour has it EP brought a B grader into the ones for finals. The fella in question would have to be one of the heaviest footballer's I've ever seen. The only time he got off the ground he injured his ankle and had to be helped off (I think everyone was happy the stretcher wasn't required). I anticipate his selection was to quell Murnane's influence in the middle, but you have to question his selection on such a big deck, he could not cover the ground at all.

Great turn out from Haven's point of view, triple header with three wins would've made a bit of coin for the club I'm sure.

Good effort by Tylor and the playing group to finally get out of Div 4.

Pretty much on the money there Wilbur the pressure was non existent and made it easy for havens to do as they please which they did.... Midfield was the difference for mine ep were 2nd to the footy all day.. The big fella played in the first final I reckon which on a small oval was fine.. Losing warren to a work accident on Saturday morning didn't help there drive off half back and not having Butler their next best kick made a huge difference. I reckon they are both back this week as I'm told will change the way they play a lot.. In saying that havens are as good or maybe better then golden grove div 4 team a couple years back having reed playing at chf is an absolute luxury and lispon was fabtaatuc . I can't see them losing the gf just got too many weapons !

Losing Garner and Tankard during the game didn't help either, but it wouldn't have mattered. Havens were just way too good, and they'd be licking their lips with Alberton now the GF venue.
