Pretty ordinary day at Unley today. A reasonably even first quarter but Sturt far too good, used the ball a hell of a lot much better and far more efficient going forward. We had little happening up forward all day. With South and Adelaide both having solid wins, the race for 5th spot is still alive. Having said that, if we can't hold on playing the two bottom sides to finish the season, then we don't deserve to be there, simple as that.

What the hell happened at Noarlunga? did someone get in the ears of the Eagles players and convince them it was a Grand Final?

I know there was nothing on the line for the eagles today, but it was great to see South attacking the ballcarrier today and not just protecting space. Even Davis played a good game (only backed away from one contest). Great team effort! The reserves also did well to come away with a draw after playing the last half with only one on the bench.
