Yup, Clearly being picked on by the Ch9AdFL. The sooner they leave the sooner it will stop.

Will get weeks! Gibson kicked the first 2 goals very early in q1 so they sent Drainer to him! Next 5 minutes he was more worried about the player than the football. Gibson leads out, marks, drainer most blatant high hit I've seen in recent years. Straight red.

Wasn't too dissimilar to Kieran Aguis' last week so will be interesting to see how the tribunal go with this one. Was late and high but wasn't much in it IMHO 25meter penalty and maybe a yellow at worse. There was a much bigger incident during the 3rd quarter when Brad Hood was polaxed by a Modbury player who ran 2-3 meters past the ball and intentionally bumped high. Umpire unfortunately blindsided but could pay the free kick.

haha that's utter lies. Modbury video taped the game and gave the footage to SN. Once the Tribunal see the footage it will be thrown out as well

Saw the video, is a late cheap shot, roundhouse action, the sort of thing the League is trying to get rid of, think he will get couple of weeks for sure. Can't argue his fist was not clenched and did not hit him, so based on that he is in trouble.

He might be heading the tribunal but not necessarily that case. I'm quite sure there are Rules and Regs that precludes any former club representative sitting on their former clubs tribunal.

Hardly worth Roachy being on the tribunal. He's had more clubs than a deck of cards hasn't he?

Actually, I would argue his fist was clenched. Roundhouse motion? Yes (how else can you spoil from behind) Fist clenched? No! Hand/Fist connect to head? No! Was a forearm to head at most, it was more of a body spoil IMHO. I watched the footage numerous times last night. If that gets a game, there should be 10+ suspensions a week..... per game

Uni, SN, Kilburn, Broadies (I think?) ....am I missing any?

Wouldn't say Kilburn, Uni or Broadies bother the tribunal much, to warrant it being a conflict of interest.

Started at Pulteney O.S. and coached Sturt Reserves for a couple of years after leaving Broadies at the end of 1990 and sacred the hell out of Jack Oatey one night if the story is true & correct!!!
2017, 2019 & 2020 PREMIERS
RICHMOND, RICHMOND, RICHMOND.

Let that be a lesson to you Sturt. You don't beat Glenelg 3 times in a row in Grand Finals and get away with it.

It's on the very good Broadview website. He coached them 1986-1990 and again 1997-1998. A1/D1 Premierships in 87, 89 & 98. Never finished lower than 4th in his seven years across the two stints.

The league is full of officials, umpires etc who at some part of their life have had affiliations with various clubs. To suggest someone like Tony Roach would have his judgement clouded by previous associations is to not know the man. (PS: I'm not Tony Roach)

Stent outcome will be interesting. Hear he was offered an early guilty plea deal and rejected it.

I thought he would get three weeks after watching the video, and I have no involvement with either Club. You can't have blokes spoiling like that, very late and roundhouse action, can easily break the guys jaw or knock him out, just because he was only groggy for 30 seconds is just lucky.

He must have a bad record or past indiscretions for him to get five, but think the League are on the right track. If Salisbury North think they are hard done by, maybe they need to look for a new Competition to play in like the murmurs that are around!
