Their tribunal site has not been updated since 7/6 a bit slow on feedback of what's happening in the competition.
Tribunal site is updated now.
In regards to your headbutt question, i'd like to refer you to the tribunal penalty guidelines for further information
http://www.adelaidefootball.com.au/wp-c ... s-2017.pdf
Please note, Tuck was charged with "Undue rough play" - not headbutting, and took the prescirbed 2 match ban with 1 suspended.
2 match ban, 1 suspended and a get out of jail free card. He should consider himself very lucky for the downgrade of report let alone the penalty from what I saw on Saturday.
Can anyone confirm if there is any truth to the whispers that it didn't actually go to tribunal and instead is was the umpire boss who did some digging around to determine what the offence was? Sounds a bit far fetched and a long way from the normal tribunal process, but that's what I'm hearing.
From what I hear it was Drainer who told Goodwood to tell the league to ring him to validate that he took a dive even though there was slight only contact made. Umpire agreed it could’ve been the case so it gets determined pre-tribunal.
Apparently It’s a trial for 2017 to find somewhere in between a prescribed and a full hearing to save everyone from going to ALDI Arena but its only if all parties agree, if that makes sense.
Drainer and dive do not go in the same sentence, unless you're talking about diving on the footy.
What you hear is incorrect, Goodwood reached out to no provail. Umpires boss rang Drainer to run though incident (umpires report) which included intentional headbut (low impact) Drainer agreed with report.... Between that and the tribunal hearing who knows what happened.
