Do we have different rules in SA regarding the 16 game life ban. Isn't there a player who went over the 16 games in the SAAFL playing in the APFL.

Nope SAAFL exceed the national rules with a 12 game de-registration can continue in another league.

I'll preempt my questions by saying I think he got what he deserved.

Do you think he got more than average Joe would have because of his high profile & an example was needed to be made.

Would he have gotten the same if there was no video evidence.

Questions directed to everyone not just AF & carey

No, I don't think he did. With the evidence put forward I think any amateur league player would have been subjected to the same sort of penalty.
As someone who is a highly paid AFL executive employed to bring people to our great game from non-traditional backgrounds could they do anything but suspend him for life and remove him from his role?

If there was no video evidence, as there would be in many local league incidents it would be down to eye witness accounts, I doubt anyone would have given favorable testimony in this instance.

I said 10 based on what I know third hand
Maybe there was something else or I'm just getting soft
He might also have a another couple of records that haven't been made public as yet
Point is: he's out, and this didn't help him: his high profile unlike the Richmond bloke
