I'm sticking with my mid season prediction of Trigger and Brads. Although understand Trigger's missed a few, and Brads has been very quiet for his standards of late.

I think that Jon Floriani, Trigger and Scott Wood will all poll well for Mt Lofty, but i think Flo will win. Wouldn't be surprised if he polls in every game he's played. From country, im going to go with Deke Smith from TV.

Country division I'm basically just having a stab except for Mueller in the under 14's seen the kid play and should be strong chance.
I've trained with Popey and I think he is a bit more than Shearwood, but yes they both should go very far.

B grade: Alex weeks and a roughie Marcus Jones
17s: Brett pistola even tho he has missed a few games should poll in almost all games he has played
14s: Michael pope GUN

do the C grade have a mail medal? if so im tipping chris bullis from onkas or tim noble from lofty

I have become a fan of Ironbank, been to about 5 of their games this year. Have many contenders for Mail medals this year. Williams and Katanyeri in the A's, Sodomka, McLean & Lacey in the B's (Could well be the top 3, barring a few Lofty boys), Light in 17s and Shearwood & Pope in 14s. Peoples thoughts?

lacey in the b's has had a fair year after a year out of football, but to many games in the a's and some massive "thunderthighs" might hamper his chances a bit. also tends to tell the umpire what he is doing wrong, cant win to many votes doing that.
for mine sodomka in the b's would have a fair few points, with ben thomas also catching the eyes of the umpires throughout the season.

LIGHT in the 17s, was that some sort of sick joke! i would imagine that furber or dunbar would get many more votes than him dont know if he would even make the best 22 for the hills team

Yeh bookie i would agree with the Furber call but due to his little Red Card action this week should rule him out in the race for the s/colts mail medal!

I think Malzard would poll well, has had an outstanding year but has came down with a back injury late in the season

CENTRAL DIVISION MAIL MEDAL PREDICTIONS

TOP 3
1. Ebert (Uraidla) - Would have to be the favourite but will get votes 'stolen' off him by Anderson & J.Brown. Anderson was dominant early in the season and will probably be leading the count at the halfway mark. J.Brown has kicked 3 bags of 10 or more so should poll well in those games. They are a very even side with the likes of Richards, Loffler, Zilante, McLean, Staples & Ebel likely to poll a few votes between them.
2. Trigger (Mt.Lofty) - May have a few guys in Floreani, Wood, White & Mehta who will 'steal' votes. White & Mehta have kicked a few bags amongst them which should attract votes. Floreani had a purple patch mid year but wasn't as prominent in the 2nd half of the season missing a few games with injury. Like Uri's Lofty are a very even side with Wait, O'Gorman, Artis, Temme, Peterson-Grey & Cutting likely to snag some votes as well.
3. Kartinyeri (Ironbank) - Ironbank's stand out player. Lightning Quick. Has missed a few games recently through injury & illness. Can't see anyone stealing votes off him. Naughton & Williams might take a couple off him but he is IB's best player by a long way.

The HFL president has made no secret of his love and affection for the Top 2 in the weekly footy budget. I'm sure the umps would have noticed this.

DARK HORSES
King (Lobethal) - Would be a long shot given Loby have only won 3 games but he has had a great season.
Henke (Mt.Barker) - Get's a lot of footy and stands out with his blonde mop
Gigney (Blackwood) - Great player and stands out with his bald melon
Smart (Onka's) - Had a good year. Doesn't feature in their best players often but both times I've seen him play he has been Onka's best by a mile and hasn't rated a mention in their best. Think Collo's expectations of Smart are ridiculously high.
