When the program was redrawn after the exclusion of Hackham, this round was shifted to this week to allow Reconciliation Round to coincide with National Reconciliation Week. The quirk was that CB play Lonsdale two weeks in a row

In another quirk, at one stage Cove have 2 byes in a row

The biggest oddity however is how our U/13s are playing Flagstaff Hill at Marion as a curtain raiser to a Cove game

I'll give you 1 out of 2 DD. Cannot see Lonsdale moving leagues.
On a more interesting note I hear Happy Valley management have already started the hunt for Coleman's replacement from 2018

How has this occurred ?
Flaggies have the bye Christies 4 other sides at Lonsdale , no Lonsdale 13 side so play Christies v Flaggies @ Lonsdale ?
Tonight C/Beach phone Flaggies to change venue :)] Why would the SFL support Marion with a junior game when they don't support the SFL :-?

As we only have 8 home games [out of 18 games] this is listed as a Flaggy home game, even though at Marion. So Im guessing thats why all 3 Flaggy teams are together...can't be easy doing the draw when you have teams not fielding juniors in all grades.

Guys, you have to look at the bigger picture of what the fixture man is faced with. Cove plays Marion at Marion in A & B grade. Flaggies are drawn to play Cove in U17 and U15 and the Flaggies Seniors have the BYE so he has kept the 4 Cove Saturday teams together by playing the U17 and U15 games at Marion. In U13 Flaggies are drawn to play CB so it also makes sense in keeping the 3 Flaggies junior teams together by playing this game at Marion as well. So the only team that is mis-placed is the U13 team of CB. Any other permutation would cause more mis-placement so what the fixture man has done is more a case of assisting Cove and Flaggies rather than giving any intended benefit to Marion.

I am sure fellow member clubs would be much more accommodating if Marion had not shifted their junior teams to a different competition, hence creating the gap in the program that is causing these issues.

We have one more year of this before clause 9.2.2 kicks in meaning they will be forced to field the teams else the clubs can vote to not include them in the Saturday competition.

LGIG in a nutshell this means clubs can enforce Marion bringing back juniors from Amateurs before they can put teams in the Saturday competition? If they choose not to their choices will be to move to C grade with Hackham or leave the SFL. You'd think that clubs would also force Hackham to field juniors before they can play Saturdays too.

Add these to the other rumours floating about.
Flies to Ammos.
Shoes to GSFL
Bushpigs and Vikings to HFL

Will make it easy to make the top 5 at this rate.
GSFL looks a close knit 10 team league. I can't see them excepting any northern neighbors. unless they take the Sharks with them to make an even 12.

Unless you come with a Netball club forget GSFL

GSFL is a true community sporting league as seen throughout the county

Would Noarlunga and Aldinga netball Clubs leave the SHNA to come with the footy clubs?

Flies to the ammos. I've heard this one to. Source was reasonably credible.
As the pro club they are they'd be derelict in their duty not to have discussed it at committee level.
Ballsy forward thinking if they did!
