Yup go to your local gym, jump on treadmill and try running at 13, 15, 17, 19 and then 21 Km/h. I get wobbly at 17 km and that is above my LT.

If you can handle 21 km/h for 30 secs or least without being chucked off the back of the thing than you start to comprehend how fast those blokes go, for 2 hrs.

2hrs 6 min is 3 min km (20 km/h). Must of those blokes sit on about 19-20 km/hr for most of the race and then systemically surge through-out the race to the 2:45-2:50/ km mark to see who they can break 'til it's last man standing for a 2:03-2:05 time.
