In the WAFL we've had some brilliant FF's (arguably even better than the SANFL ones!!), notably Warren Ralph, Simon Beasley, Ray Bauskis, Mick Rea, Darren Bennett, Jason Heatley and Troy Wilson.

What about what happened to Brad Smith over there when he finally got his chance?
A tragedy what happened to the bloke in 2005 and 2006 and now he's back just shy of the ton in the WAFL this year too.

Norwood probably haven't had any (or at least that many anyway) real "gun" full forwards of the last 30 years. They've had plenty of great forwards, but more of the forward pockiet type such as Neville Roberts and Mark Ducker. Lack of key forwards may well have been the main reason they didn't win more flags in the 80's (apart from 82 and 84) when they had such quality players as Aish, Taylor, McIntosh, Jenkins, Thomas, Kelly, Francis, Hein, Scanlon etc etc). In relation to the success and the standing they have as a club its funny that they haven't had any real outstanding forwards (in the last 30 years), and i'm no means saying that in a bad way, its just an observation/comment.
