I reckon in only one of them 3 years were you considered a top two threat and serious premiership chance a bit like the Kangaroos in recent times.
And at the end of the day you are still on a 20 year drought.

19 year
Havent made a grand final in that time either. And richmond is the only team to have a longer time between grand final appearances

It can be done.
Collingwood have tried to bring in established talent and failed.
Yeah but would you rather never bottom out but be on a 20 year premiership drought or have bottomed out twice in 10 years but have a premiership to show for it.
Look at the teams who have had dynasties and you have:
Hawthorn (had bottomed out in the early 2000's and once again look very much to be back with pack)
Sydney (hard to asses due to COLA advantages)
Geelong (had to a bit of luck with father/son picks initially to build their dynasty but have genuinely bucked the trend of bottoming out with great trading)
If the Western Bulldogs have a dynasty it will be on the back of bottoming out as well.

I wonder who talks to Viney about his last quarter? While his side gives up 5 unanswered goals he's running around telling Richmond players that they're wankers who don't know how to grab the ball. Maybe go get it yourself young man, maybe lead from the front.

He is bog average but we all know why Richmond won.

Most times David King is a flog but he made a comment earlier in the week that was said a few times on here as well, that Viney just needs to get his hands on the pill and a bit less angry.

You won't see Viney do the things the best mids do, take pack marks, kick long running goals, win inside and outside ball. You'll see him wins lots of inside ball, tackle, bullock, yap-yap-yap. I agree 100%, he's very talented in some parts of the game, in others he falls well short of the elite.
