What about Bassani from Encounter Bay, he is sure to catch the umpires vote. Matthew Webber is my dark horse.

agreed there FM. duffield for sure especially considering hes won it before and has been kicking goals in the easy games.
another name to think of is hodge from victor! very classy mover and can definitely catch the eye.
but im finding it hard to go past burdett, ur right in saying carnevale hes always in and under and has been consistent this year.
without knowing a lot bout EB i thought stokes because hes a pure match winner when on song.
i know ive received votes when i have got about 3 kicks so the umpires have there off days when choosing mail medal votes.
hill to win the b grade from the creeks :)

Ooh Newman, good call there mate - Webber has got better each week however Bassani has missed plenty of games with injury along with his inability to actually play the game will see him suffer.

None the less the great man can talk his way in to anything, I'm sure he can talk the little white maggots in to a mail medal.

I didnt know Duffield had won it b4.
I think Hodge missed a few but agreed, Im going with Burdett closely followed by Carnevale which means according to our umpiring these blokes will come 18th and 21st respectively and the medal will go to Lewis from Yank or Yeomans from Saints.

My Top 3

Burdett (Mt Compass)
Rogers (LC) - has 6 votes v The Saints
Hodge (VH)

Stokes got three against Saints, when he had an ordinary day (could poll well)
Duffield is LOVED by the umpires

Sounds like you know him better than me mate but from what Ive seen he spends most of his time abusing them along Littley.
Bass would be first to admit that his best days are past him, he's been in a form slump since under 12s mate.

I forgot about Timmy Rogers. He's one of those blokes that really stands out when he has a blinder so he could poll quite well.

Someone start a book so we can have a punt on the mail medal! I'll have $100 on Rogers.

Very angry man, saw him go out of his way to tread on the back of Jacob Baggs while he was lying face first on the dirt, a tad dirty in fact in my opinion. Looked a bit like Rogers mistook Baggs for a surfboard!

My pick would have to be Burdett, he has polled in the top 3 voters just about every game he's played.

Whatever happens the mail medal count is always interesting. There is nothing better than losing, not getting a kick, then rocking up to the count and sneaking in for one vote. Happens all the time!

that happened to me in 2004 in gsfl, 1st game back after broken ribs, 1st half hide in the forward pocket(no touches), benched in the 3rd, back flank in the last, got about 3 kicks & a handball in the last 5 mins. at one stage after i dissputed a decision even the umpy bagged me.
when me name was called for 1 vote, me beer got spat out with shock
