Round 3 Greater Western Sydney beat Hawthorn by 86 points
Round 4 : Geelong beat Hawthorn by 86 points

Round 5 : Hawthorn play West Coast
I dont think West Coast will win by 86 points

Big chance, its in Melbourne so that should keep it under the 100 mark

Or maybe they didnt cut hard enough? Burgoyne, Hodge, Gibson have gone 1 year too long and the aggressive recruiting while sacrificing draft picks is now biting hard.

Hawks fans could cop the losses if some young kids were racking up good game time and possessions. Roos are 0-4 also but got rid of the dead wood and getting games into the kids.

Think their problems started before then. Lost a lot of quality players and support staff in the last 12-18 months. Happens when you are so successful.

It's amazing how the front runners at the Hawks, like Rioli, Smith, Breust et al, are being exposed now without elite players dishing them out easy possessions

3-4
Should have done it probably, geez Hodge has a smerky face you wanna punch.

Scott on 360 tonight trying to put that hit in to perspective. "Broaden the bump"....

Ummm.... running past someone full tilt and flushing them in the head with an exposed elbow has never been an acceptable part of the game and it is not reflex. It's careless at best and deserves 3-4 no matter how much the bloke deserves it.

probably makes the cats' decision to move on stevie j, enright, kelly etc look a lot better than we thought at the time.

Still dont reckon geelong will be there when the whips are cracking (reckon they finish 5-8), but with the amount of experience still in the side, you wouldnt wanna be facing them in the first final

Which four to seven sides finish above Geelong this year? We haven't had three of our first four at Home unlike your mob. We don't get a Cat Park game until round 10. If we are 7-2 or better we go top four my friend.

Cats still have 7 games to come at home, not including Carlton and also have Collingwood twice. If we are making predictions then they are certainties for top four at a minimum.

I would have Adelaide, GWS, West Coast and the Bulldogs ahead of them, but fair point about the number of home games to come.

Why the love for WCE? They beat North Melbourne Rd 1 who are sitting 0-4 and 2nd bottom.. St Kilda at home who are average.. lost to Richmond and beat Sydney at home who are also 0-4.

The men in white/lime/orange get them over the line in Perth so they're in for 10 wins there.

Adelaide and GWS are the top 2. it's either move interstate or stay and laugh this October for me.

Geelong and the Dogs hold out West Coast for the other top 4 spots.

Richmond and Port fight for 6th and 7th with the home final.

Fremantle, St Kilda or even Sydney if they get their shit together take 8th as you might get in with 13 wins this year.

Melbourne are shot without Gawn, but are better than the dregs along with Gold Coast, but their form will be fickle. Collingwood have been grossly over rated by anyone who said they'd make the 8 and the rest are poo.

I think the 18 teams really is stretching the talent pool.

Swans will make the 8... Even if we go 0-5...

Gibson cleared.

Geelong players offered (after discounts) 1 week (sling tackle) and 2 weeks (elbow) for their respective hits on Hodge.
