The Port Adelaide Magpies Football Club is delighted to announce that the SCOTT’S TRANSPORT GROUP has agreed to a long term sponsorship deal which will see them remain a major sponsor of the Magpies for the next 7 seasons. So Alan Scott is going to pay this years players payments including the thousands over the cap seeing as your club are poor financial managers and cannot presently pay the players. So much for the love and tradition of playing for the famous "prison bar" jumper that you Port people so happily remind us of however - it's appears it's only tradition and the players only try if they get paid which is reflected in your results this year so far!

i reckon another 3 years max they have. but thats a long way off and having that long a window to win a flag would give them a huge chance to get one. but this could be a decade they dont get one.

With the lack of artificial equalisation measures compared to the AFL (Salary cap only) SANFL club "windows" are much harder to close and at the same time open.

When is Centrals and to a lesser extent the Eagles going to close???

North (and all clubs to an extent) have the resources to keep their window open a long time yet....
